Another lock question. Can someone tell me if this is a domestic lock or Indian. From a Chief's Grade Trade Musket. Has a Sitting Fox on outside of lockplate.

Looks like a left handed siler from this side.

Is VCD for a Davis lock?
-
Vernon C Davis maybe??? Is there also an "F" under the VCD?
Stonewall Creek Outfitters bought him out some years ago.
-
Could it be a left hand Silver assembled by Vern Davis?
-
The only thing that DOESN'T look like a Siler is the top jaw screw. Actually even it does... it's just that someone drilled a hole through the side of it.
-
It a Siler lefty. Curly used them, and the guy that bought him out did for at least a while.

Thanks for all of the input.
