Tim, of the four horns that you are currently selling, I notice that one of them has a brass lever spout. I have two questions:
1. The spout lever is oriented to the outside of the horn curve. Is there a reason for this, or was it just what felt right for this horn?
2. How did you go about getting a good horn to spout fit? Are there any tricks to doing this. I am fitting up a similar spout right now and find it challenging.
Thanks in advance.

1. It seems to fit the hand better in that position and makes it easier to open and direct to the measure or pan. If it was on either side it would be hard to get in and out of a bag or pocket and a little difficult to use. I have done quite a few this way with no complaints.
2. I fit it just like I would inlet an inlay or part except to start you can rough shape the horn. Then use soot, stain or a magic marker on the inside, push it on, then removed the marks. It is pretty easy.
Hope that helps.
Tim
