Title: Angstadt Style Tomahawk
Post by: Fullstock longrifle on November 16, 2023, 03:09:59 AM: Just finished this yesterday. The head was rough forged by Beaver Bill from Ohio and I shaped it and did the rest.

Thank you Eric, yes it sure was a lot of work, I’ll learn one day not to try to challenge myself. 😁 Took several years of working on it off and on, glad it’s finally done.

Thank you! I wasn’t satisfied with the facets on the bowl, so I decided to highlight them with engraving, all I could think about while I was doing it was, don’t slip!

I don't recall if beer was involved but my hawk has a big divot on the back from a "handles" challenge. Have bought a couple of handles which is what the winner got to do for winning. Seems backwards. Great work on the hawk.
