Title: Finally had success on my Tennessee 12 acres

Came down the hill following a doe. 75 yards, dropped on the spot. .45 caliber round ball, 60 grains 2f.

He was quartering away uphill from me and I hit just behind the shoulder. I believe the ball went far enough to hit the spine also.

Hung the buck up from a tree last night at the base of a bluff. Skinned and quartered this morning and packed him up the hill to a logging road. Lots of work for this 70 year old, but satisfying and a little fun.
