For those of you who have built one of these kits? It looks like the front and rear of the trigger guard will sit on top of the trigger plate. If so did you inlet the trigger plate below the surface of the stock (IOW flush with the bottom of the inletting for the trigger guard)?

Jeff,
I've built two of them. You just have to inlet the plate a little more.
The instructions show cutting off the two little wings.... probably the best way, because blending that all together with them hanging outside the trigger guard can be a little time consuming.
There is only a small amount that actually covers the plate. The little tab on the front of the trigger bow, and on the rear, just the tip of the plate.
Hope that helps.
