I'm getting interested in "chunk" & table shooting. I have my dad's old light bench gun which only requires removal of the receiver Redfields & addition of iron sights to be legal, but I want an adjustable chunk. As above, anyone have plans or pictures I might use to make one? Many thanks,
Roger B.

Adjustable Chunk.
Taylor and I made a bunch of these up and used them as prized in a chunk shoot at BC Rendezvous some years ago.
The read-rod goes all the way through, side to side and the large wing nuts of both sides make it easily & quickly adjustable.
We used maple 1" x 4" kiln dried boards.
IIRC, the cross piece was 2x3" hemlock but it could have been pine.

Google "Alvin York Shoot". You will find their web page. Lots of photos of different ones there. It is I believe the largest chunk shoot in the nation.

Thanks, guys!
