Title: Patching material
Post by: varsity07840 on May 27, 2024, 12:47:24 AM
I'm looking for source for patching material heavier than .022. I think .030 would be about right.

Thanks in advance,

Duane

12 ounce denim ran .030" compressed heavily by my calipers and .025" compressed in my mic.
14 ounce denim measured .034" and .030".
Washed twice, once with soap the next just water to make sure all the soap is out of it.

Most welcome. I would suggest Joanne's Fabrics or other sewing/fabric store.

Just remembered that a few years back, the Joanne's in Yuma, had 11 ounce denim. That should run around .025" compressed hard, in calipers.
