Title: Bill Knights BP files
Post by: Dphariss on August 18, 2024, 07:07:37 AM
I just found this while searching something else. I have them in print form from Bill years back. I think this will lead you to all the files not just Goex CTG.

I can't remember right now how many years ago Bill sent me a bunch of info\files, etc. but don't remember any on ctg. powder. I haven't gone through your link yet but it should be interesting as Bill was at the very top when it comes to all things black powder IMHO.   ;)

I found Bill to be a very generous person who was always willing to share from his deep storehouse of information. I enjoyed his emails and articles that he would send along. RIP, Bill. You are missed by so many.

J.B.

Nice. Bill and I talked a bunch about powder and he sent me lots and lots of files.  Of course I'm not sure which computer HD has them, now I can has new copies!

Bill really knew BP and the making thereof. A genuine good source of info any of his writings can surely be. Thanks Dan.

I too found Bill to be a generous gentleman with sharing his experience and knowledge and taught me so much about how incredibly complex black powder and its manufacture is. Also his advice generally on my weird chemistry questions.

I am deeply indebted to him. RIP.
John

I received some very helpful info while working to understand pressure curves and burn duration when working with 2FF and 3FFF powders.  He was very generous with his knowledge.  We were lucky to be able to benefit from his incredible store of information.

Somewhat like losing my Father. There are questions I wish Bill could answer for me.  RIP friend. Decades or correspondence and phone calls.

I also enjoyed a bit of time corresponding with Bill. I would hope someone could put his works together in proper order in book form and made available. I would defiantly pay for it. He is missed.

Bill was MOST generous with his knowledge. Somewhere (I need to find them) I have some CD's that he sent me
on powder production and his testing of them.
