This is in obviously very bad condition. I believe it is water damage from hanging on my dad's wall as a decoration gun. The roof would leak down that specific wall. I am currently looking to move to a location where I won't be able to take the rifle with me, and I'm wanting to know if trying to sell it is even worth it in this condition. What do you think this may be worth? Thanks a bunch for any information.

Hey Dennis, this might be some of your clan. The buttplate, and triggerguard look similar. What do you think?

You might find the makers name on the top flat of the barrel, which would help in determining the value. It is too good to throw away, in my opinion, but it is hard to tell much from photos.

Get a lock for it and offer it for sale.It doesn't appear to be a junker and well worth saving. As new gun it was a good looking one and still shows the time it took to make it.

The “pin striping” behind the cheek piece is an interesting feature.

If the bore and rifling in the barrel are in reasonably good condition, someone would want it for sure.

Are there any markings on the top of barrel?
