Title: KV m/1825 Musket

Start building a replika of the first musket model build on the the Norwegian Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk in 1825. Its based on the Swedish mod 1815 musket. In photo on top the Swedish m/1815 and bottom is my scrath build m/1829.

I have a Swiss made Bosch Jigsaw I bought in 1984, it is still running strong. Bosch is making a lot of their tools in China now, and the quality is spotty. Metabo tools used to be Hitachi and are excellent tools.

I'll be looking for one of those miniature chain saws too. I could get into all sorts of trouble with one of those!

I always forget about making a 'bending jig' for springs, but after the 3rd or 4th try, I remember that a jig would have saved me some work.

Think about winter and wearing warm gloves. Might be a bit awkward releasing the catch.

You do some mighty fine work!
