If any one is looking to purchase percussion caps, Midsouth Shooters Supply has some in stock as of today.

Midway sent me a message, I ordered caps.   They took over a week to ship.  I had to call them and check up.  They gave an excuse about the shipper.  It made no sense because they had not put the caps on the truck.  They did ship some solvent immediately from he same order.  After my call they got shipped immediately.  Something weird was going on.

I'd call and make sure that they are available to ship now.

I looked, but the hazmat adds $22.  Then shipping on top I believe.  When said and done you're paying $130 for a brick.  But if you need them, I recommend buy, don't wait. I'm pretty set.

There's nothing weird going on. Shipping companies only allow a certain amount of Haz Mat packages on any trailer load. Powder and primer orders routinely get bottlenecked during high demand periods. The fixed amount of Haz Mat packages are fed on to each shipping trailer as the rules allow.

That is a good explanation.  I suppose the Midway rep could have explained it better.  She had to coherent reason.  I have never had shipping delays on "hasmat" in the past.  It was weird to me.
