Here is a group of antler powder measures I finished up this week. I drilled out the side of one of them. It got a small lead patch on it and the thing held much better than I thought it would. It's been several years since I had an oops like that.

That just happens every now and again to remind us that we are mere mortals. I am reminded more frequently than I think I need.

I know what you mean Taylor.

Great work Brian!
Love the variety and details.
Also think the patched hole would be authentic.
Thanks for sharing.

Those powder measures are quite delightful. I have one for my .36 that someone sent me as a gift
after one of the chunk matches I put on here, many years ago. I still use it but had to increase the
charge for the .36.

Brian, you are very talented and do nice work. I especially like that third one from the left!
-
Very nice work and design. One looks like the rattles on a rattlesnake tail. I wonder if one could tan part of the tail and rattler and use that as a cover over an antler measure?
Cheers Richard
