Title: Fowler wads cards
Post by: foresterdj on December 17, 2024, 09:43:09 PM
Just now getting a start on my Kibler fowler, so will see how this goes soon. But, looking at ram rod vs bore diameter and the thin over powder and over shot cards I bought, it seems to me they would want to tip or turn on the way down the bore. Does this just not happen once you get them pushed in and started in a flat orientation?

My 20 bore's rod is .435" on the brass ferrule on the large end. The other end is only 3/8". The large end does not turn the wads.
