That's a very different design carved around the tang Runar!

Thank you for showing it!
Can you show us the top of the breech?
It looks like the nipple may be fitted into a high  quality drum, rather than a patent breech.
also, some details would be appreciated, Calibre, barrel length and a photo of the triger guard.

Hi, and thank you guys!
Here is more photos(Better taken outside ;)) The lock have no Bridle, but work great. Cal 50 and barrel l is 37"  The gun is extrimly slim and light and the most beautiful stocking in my collection :)

Lovely piece of maple!
I have one very similar fitted to an English gun.
I see the barrel has a patent breech and nicely done!
From the side, it looks very like one I have on an old wreck, where the drum is shaped to
Look like a patent breech.
