A couple of years ago I saw a photo of an antique powder measure with a threaded stem and locking collar to adjust the volume. Unfortunately, I misplaced the photo. I finally got around this week to seeing if I could make this concept work. This is my forth measure with a threaded stem. The first measure I made is being donated as a raffle prize for this years "Toys for Tots" shoot this weekend. This particular measure is a Christmas present for a good friend of mine. I have included a photo of all the parts I made for this measure as well as a couple photos of the completed measure.
Enjoy, David

Daryl, This one is a Christmas present for a good friend of mine and another is a raffle donation for a "Toys for Tots" fundraiser shoot this Sunday. I have not decided what to do with the other 2. They are labor intensive. All 4 are of different design. I putzed around for almost 2 days making and designing the first one. The next couple still took about 6 hours, of course I am not as fast in the shop as I used to be. ;).

That is awesome!

Awesome for sure. That cannon barrelled one really turns my crank.
I already have 3 adjustable measures and surely don't need another.
Really, I was curious is all.
Exceptional work of love.

That is too cool.

If they were mine, I would give them to family members as a family keep sake. Too nice to sell and your young family members will cherish them because you made them. ;)
