I’m looking for a source for traditional style of jags for my 1803 Harper’s ferry rifle. Is there anyone making a good reproduction of the old style ball pullers and cleaning jags?
Thanks
Charley

I am not sure what, if any, worms and pullers are HC for an 1803. I’ve not found any documentation if they were issued by Harper’s Ferry with the rifle. Anyhow, Callahan Bagmolds and Cabin Creek, and others I’m sure, sell nice sets that are based on 18tj century examples.

Thank you Steve, I looked at both and they both have good looking tow and ball pullers.
BTW, I sent you PM.

Thanks Daryl, I hadn’t seen those at T.O.W.

The Rifle Shop offers a "U.S. Common Rifle Cleaning Set" for the 1803 etc consisting of the U-shaped screwdriver, bullet puller, and worm. They say the set will fit in the patchbox of an 1803.

Dan Fruth makes some beautifully crafted accessories.

X2 for Dan Fruth, look great, historically correct and get the job done. I have his tow worms for my .36, .40, and .54 Flinters.
