Hi
This is a photo of a French Model 1690 pistol lock from The Rifle Shop and I am wondering what company made the lock, or was it made from parts cast from an original by TRS? Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thank you!

No photo here!

I’m confused. Is this an original lock? If so, what are you asking? Sorry; easily confused.

Don't think this is original. Maybe Rifle Shop?

No doubt a new lock.

Yes it is a lock from the Rifle Shop for their 1690 French Dragoon pistol. I am wondering if it is from original castings or is it from another maker like Chambers or Davis?
(I have Rifle Shop “British Officers Carbine” that had an engraved Chambers Early Virginia lock) .
Sorry if my question was confusing!

I can say for sure who did NOT make it.

I don’t think there’s any possibility except it was made completely from TRS parts, or possibly, re-converted/restored with TRS castings. I can see the casting seam on the frizzen pivot area.

Thanks Rich and Bob. Hopefully it will work as well as Bob Roller lock 🤞
