Title: Can anyone recommend good quality coping saw blades for steel?
Post by: Rolf on April 21, 2025, 04:32:28 PM
I can't find any good quality coping saw blades in Norway for this standard frame.

This is how the blade looks after cutting two screw slots. No teeth left!!

I made the screws from regulare mild steel bolts.  I've tried sandvik blades.  Any other recommendations?

Best regards
Rolf

Rolf.

I use Bahco, these are harder than other brands.
Try red annealing in vegetable oil, cool and temper a little.

That looks like a miniature hacksaw. How long is the blade shown in metric or inch measurement?
