Title: Recently finished horns
Post by: Jeff Murray on May 03, 2025, 09:42:15 PM
The summer rendezvous season is rapidly approaching.  I made a few horns to put on my blanket.  It is fun to talk with folks about the horns and the designs on the ones with scrimshaw designs on them.  I also turned some curly ash for the first time.  It is on the buffalo horn with the scraped finish.  Interesting wood to work.  It is not as dense as maple or cherry, but had some nice curl.  Enjoy.

Jeff those look great! You won't be taking them home in the Fall. :) -- JB
