i know nothing more about this, having gotten it from an online auction in east TN, and they said it was a local rifle. Bill Paton has seen it. it is a very plain delicate little rifle, with 42" swamped barrel of approximately 29-30 caliber.

What did Bill say about it?

he said it is a southern mountain rifle .... and had no further idea about it.
