Picked this up recently and I'm at a loss as to if it is a 20th century gun with old parts or a 19th century antique. Sideplate is bizarre. It has a beefy 45 and a quarter inch .44 straight barrel with very thick walls. Long breech tang. London/Warranted lock. Any assistance or insights would be appreciated!
