Title: Can anyone ID the maker?
Post by: ColonialRifleSmith on August 05, 2025, 12:27:05 PM
I bought this musket about a year and a half ago. It's unsigned. There have been a lot of Ken Netting muskets being sold recently online. This sure looks like Ken's style but I don't know. Does anyone know if Ken made 'unsigned' guns? Can anyone point me in the right direction of the maker?
Thanks a bunch for any assistance.
Rick

I don’t think it’s a Ken Netting gun. I believe he signed everything and the architecture doesn’t look like his work.

Thanks for the info. I emailed The Log Cabin Shop. I will be there in Oct.. I ask if Ken will be there; if so, I will take the musket with me and ask him. I reckon it's the only way to be sure. No one seems to have an email for Ken to send him pictures and ask.

That is without a doubt not one of Ken's guns.
