62 cal smoothie. Gun I’ve planned for a while. Original trigger guard. Serpent out of old rasp. Fun project.

THAT is a dandy!!!!! It has its own appeal and the absolute simplicity is just that, absolute. What is the binding around the grip and the fore end? Keep up the good work.

Very tastefully done.

Mighty fine artistry and craftsmanship Guido and using a farrier's rasp for the side plate was marvelous and innovative, the only thing I'd change is switching out the artificial sinew for elk or buffler back strap sinew and hide glue.

I can see why you thought it was a fun project - you got to let your imagination go. I like it.

Very cool! That's a gun with character.

Now THAT is different and well executed!

VERY nicely built. How's it shoot?
-
Well I simply like it..!! I favor guns that don't always follow the norm..
-
That's really cool! Thanks for showing it.
I have a Curly G. NW 24 ga that my son and I modified with NW Coast style carvings.
Your painted gun is really nice.

Great idea using the rasp for the serpent, the scales are built in. Very creative.

I Am Lovin’This One !! A really nice job, and all the guys in our club here in N W Indiana would be thinking up ways to trade you out of it !
( why didn’t I think of a side plate like that ? )

I really like that. I've been wanting to put together a painted gun for quite a while now. There's lot's of really great ideas there.
