I have found a fullstock percussion rifle that is signed W. Burget. Would anyone here have any information on this maker. Thanks. D. Crisp

Washington Burget (1824-). Son of Henry and Mary (Dickson) Burget who came from VA. They had a farm on edge of Circleville, Pickaway Co, Ohio. 1850, Washington Burget, age 26, born in OH. Reportedly he was in IL in 1880 but his name is not in Curt Johnson's book so I regard that assertion with considerable suspicion since Curt is a most dedicated researcher. I am somewhat surprised that the gun is full-stocked. How long is the Barrel? Capbox?
