about once a year I will make a bag and keep it for myself.
Kept this one last year ... still waitin to put a decent strap on it.
Use it for my 54 Bucks Fowler.

new strap sets it off good, wife thought it wasa different bag.
went with a herringbone hemp 1 1/2" strap

Is the stitching across the flap just decorative or is there some kind of pocket in there.....you know to keep your pet hedghog in??? ;D :D oops I mean groundhog!!

Holds a peice onto back of flap... stitched in place.
Bag has a double thickness gusset n bottom of bag doube hided as well.
be one tuff bag.
Top where strap attaches is three hides thick.
Added a 1 1/2 hemp strap and small skinnin knife/sheath too bag today.
