Howdy boys,
I am new to this site. I have had in the family, a halfstock .35 rifle. It is walnut stocked, brass trimmed, dbl set triggers, and marked "Deringer Philadel" on the top flat and same on the lock. Looks like a scaled down Hawkin, sort of like a "ohio" rifle.
Anyone seen something like this before? When would it have been made??

Deringer made many rifles, for personal use as well as military. PLease post pictures.

Ol' Henry made a lot of rifles. I've seen some halfstocks from him too. Please show us pictures.
