Title: A couple of tool articles
Post by: Kermit on June 06, 2011, 06:50:02 PM
The new issue (August!?!) of FineWoodworking just hit my mailbox, and there are a couple of bits in it that may be of some interest.

One is a fine piece on the making of "scratchstocks" and their cutters. Well illustrated and explained.

The other is on small shopmade chisels and their handles. Clever handle attachment trick. Could be of interest, even though its primary focus is dedicated small tools for handcutting dovetails.

You might find it in your library, or find a friend who subscribes. Might be worth a look, especially the scratchstock bit.
