Not saying he made it, but this is something you would see from John Derr. The style is similar.

Hate to bust somene's bubble but that is no more than a heavy offhand rifle. As far from being a bench gun as they come.

Might just be a rifle built from old parts, but it is in nice shape and probably worth the $1200 or so spent on it. If I didn't have bills to pay I probably would have taken a chance on it.
