Title: Latest last Sunday's shoot.
Post by: Roger Fisher on October 16, 2012, 05:47:20 PM
First Frontier (Pa) shot last Saturday (7 shooters paid cash).    Sunday 26 shooters paid other goodies.  Both days beautiful on our wooded range.  Good times. Had 2 brand new shooters.

How was your turn out?

Roger, I attended the Upper Esopus Fish & Game*  trail walk (blanket shoot) on the 14th (did OK, but not great) and am happy to say they drew about 20 shooters.  Even though they are at the west end of nowhere, they had a good turnout.  My club, Marbletwon Sportsmen, at the east end of nowhere, barely drew half that number on September 9.

Roger, had a good time at your place on Sunday (14 Oct).  I actually shot very well with my .54 cal. York County Rifle.  My aggregate score was my personal best, but there weren't enough shooters in that event to give me a second place prize.  Ole' Dale Atkinson shot out of his arse to take high honors.  He had two misses over the course; I had three.

Anyhow, my third place finish in the three bull target got me a nice bottle of home-made wine.  That made my day.

See you next month at FF.
