Title: Nathan Stephenson Rifle

Got  a  great  deal  on  a  Pennsylvannia 50  Cal  flint  rifle made  by  the  above  feller.  There  is  no  nose  cap
 how  hard  would  it  be  to  put  one  on?  Any  info  would  be  appreciated.

They're not very hard to put on if you are patient and have some finesse in your woodworking skills. If you search it on this site there have been some good threads about their installation.

Not all types of guns had them, so there may be a reason for it not being there. Can  you post a picture of the gun?

And IF you make one....don't forget to anneal the brass BEFORE working it!!! ::)
I got excited and was having the toughest time....duh!  Forgetted to anneal!!!
