Title: ALR Museum and Library at the Harrisburg Gun Show ( VA, W. VA, Maryland , PA)
Post by: Hurricane ( of Virginia) on February 22, 2009, 09:09:31 PM
Had a fine two days. Small crowd. About 25 tables...5 contemporary and 5 display.
Usual collectors there from VA.   Several people offered guns to be photographed     ( coming soon to Museum). About half the people that stopped by knew of the site. All positive comments with very encouraging support. I was there with a large sign., high resolution monitor, fliers and slide show. Could not connect to net but showed them about 20 guns from the site ( 200 pictures from CD)...."WOW" was the usual. "Never saw anything like that on net" Many thanks to Sam Koontz, the host.
Two whole collections offered if I come photo them which I will do in the next few months.
