Title: New rifle gun
Post by: BJH on August 23, 2015, 03:41:35 PM
My grand sons and I are going out to the club today, to test out my new rifle gun. Pluss get ready to run the black powder range at next weeks youth field day. The rifle gun is a John Newcomber styled. Long rifle after the so called John Bullard rifle in RCA. .45 cal with a 42 inch Getz B weight barrel, stocked in curly chestnut. Davis round faced early English lock. Time to get my grandsons breakfast around. BJH

I agree....must have pics and a range report BJ.  We shot smokeless today and just about the whole time I was pining to touch off some magic black.  Started to bring it but I've learned that a long rifle demands all your attention and focus so will make a second run.  Hope you guys had a great time.
