Title: Any info. on an early shooting match know as " New Recovery"
Post by: 4th La. on October 16, 2015, 05:32:29 AM
A collector friend of mine has a Southern chunk gun with standard weight bbl. But the bbl. is bedded in lead in the fullstock. Nothing special about the rifle, but on the counterplate side is carved ( nicely I might add )    NEW RECOVERY
                                                                                                                      1933
If anyone has any idea of where this may have been,  please post.

Thanks
