I saw mbriggs post and thought this might not hurt either. I am currently researching a book I plan to write on Jacob Shaffer of Wythe County, Va and am looking for any information or pictures you guys may have to help inb this process. Currently I have about 250-300 pages of ancestry, land deeds and copies of original documents pertaining to him and photos of about 9 rifles I have personally looked at and handled. I am looking for a few more rifles to add to that section of the book. Any help would be appreciated!
