Title: Johannes Ehrenhardt(John Earnheart)
Post by: neryearnhart on July 04, 2016, 08:05:25 PM
I descend through Johannes Ehrenhardt, known as John Earnheart, 1750-1828.  I am looking for any information on him including any known longrifles and pictures.  He worked in Mifflinburg, PA in the 1790's and had 4 sons and a daughter.  John and his family settled in Circleville, OH around 1805.  John set up shop on High Street with his son William in Circleville, OH.  Under John's guidance, William became one of the finest Gunsmiths in Ohio.  See the KRA CD, Notable gunsmiths of the old Northwest Territory. William's rifles exhibited the Snyder County, PA style.
