It is about 14" around the outside curve. The Walnut Butt is hollowed out about 3?4s its length, it is about 2 1/2", held in by 4 pins. The Two part tip is held together with 3 pins and to the horn with 3 more. Each band was boiled in the "Rogue Gunpowder Green Tea", pressed on and secured with 3 pins each.
The color is Buttermilk Milk paint covered with Brown shoe polish and buffed with a shoe brush.

Nice Tim. It looks like it could be in Ivey's or Brigg's books. Those square base plugs have a neat funky look.....like a woman's hat from days past. I like the finishes you used. The tip appears a little longer than your usual. Is there a story behind that?
Best wishes, Marc

Very nice work.

Nice job Tim. I really like the color but the looong spout tip isn't your usual application.

For the two Marc/k's; it just looked to me like the proportions fit so that's how it ended up. On top of that, the tip was nice and long I couldn't bring myself to cut it down.

Sounds like as good a reason as any. Long or short spout, great horn.
