Title: Some Wedge Pin Help
Post by: John Allen on September 19, 2016, 08:08:55 PM
Hey Fellas, I picked up a Thompson Center Seneca in 36 caliber the other day. It is missing a wedge pin.  Anyone know where to get one or the size so I can order one?  It is the same size as my Thompson Center Patriot.

Thanks John

the factory no longer has them but track of the wolf has a small wedge pin that can be modified with a little filing and will work.

A couple years ago the Log Cabin Shop in Lodi, OH had a fair amount of spares for TC rifles.

A suitable piece of mild steel 1/8" strap, a ballpean hammer, and a good vice, and you can make one in less time that you can track one down.

I looked in my tackle box and found one, pretty sure it is a TC as that is the only I guns I had that used wedge pins.

PM me your address and I will send it to you for free.

the Seneca rifle has a much thinner barrel key than their Hawken or Renegade models.  Your best bet is to make one that suits.  It's an easy and fun project.

Mine has to be off a Renegade.
