Title: Soddy Daisy Triggers
Post by: BillPac on September 21, 2016, 12:09:15 AM
Gentleman
Looking for trigger location information on Soddy rifles in general.  Are the triggers usually mounted on center line or off set toward the dominate hand?
I can't tell from the photos we have in the library and others that I have.
Thanks
BillP

I have some antique fittings from a Southern mountain rifle, and the triggers are offset for a right handed shooter. I believe this is primarily due to the spring that works the front trigger run down the left side of the triggers, forcing everything else to be moved to the right a bit.

Bill,

The Soddy photographed on the bench in the ALR Library has the triggers center with no offset.

OK will install on center, seems like the norm.
Thanks
