Title: Flintlock Fowlers-BS12
Post by: bob in the woods on October 12, 2016, 05:46:50 PM
Tom Grinslade's book has information as well as a great photograph of BS12
This fowling gun has a patchbox.  Does anyone know how it operates ??
At first I thought that it was a sliding door, but it may also have an internal hinge on the door .
The wear on the stock seems to support the hinge idea .
There is no visual evidence of a catch.
