Title: North Carolina maker

Looking through my copy of Rifles of North Carolina and i was amazed to find a name that i think might be a relative (Robert Bellew from Yancey County). I knew my family came from N.C. around the Revolution but we dont have alot of other info. Does anyone have any info on this name? Thanks
