Excited to show off my brothers new acquisition. Just a little tease as I don't want to steal his thunder.

WOW !!!!!!!

Not to spoil the surprise but this is the rifle that Wallace Gusher had on his gunrack at the Tennessee show in April that wasn't finished yet. Your brother has a fine looking rifle. I admired the carving and wirework many times over two days. It's a wonderful piece of craftsmanship.

Wallace is a true Master. Beautiful gun. Oldtravler

American style decoration on an American gun. Why can't all the super talented gun makers do that? Nice work.
-
I seen that rifle... Have a picture i use as a screen saver. It was in the white then..
-
Whoa! A rifle that fine would, :'(, be wasted on a peon like me. :-\

Wallace made us a fine rifle. I can only say that I am thrilled to possess such a work of art. I only have the photos that Breadhead took in Williamsburg, but I'll post what I have. First one is Gunhunter700, our dad, with the rifle. Second is Wallace, with the tomahawk he made Breadhead, and the rifle. Third is the Griffin on the wear plate, from our family coat of arms. Rest are self explanatory. We'll get more next time Breadhead and I get together.

Classic Beauty by an American Icon . It doesn't get much better than that. Nate

Thank you all for bringing your fine rifle into the Gunshop right after you picked it up. I was hoping to see it before it left town so that was great. What am heirloom!!

One fine rifle there. Thanks for sharing. Bob
-
some fine work right there, beautiful rifle!
-
That rifle is so stunning, I would be afraid to shoot it.
I would put it in the safe, or loan it to a museum (after thoroughly checking out their security).
-
It is truly magnificent. I saw his video when I was in grade school about 1970 and I have been inspired by his work ever since.
-
VERY nice!

What a remarkable piece of work. Amazing. She looks like she holds and points naturally. I can imagine it's a pleasure to shoot.
-
You keep at that Wallace and you might get pretty good one day. ;)

Breadhead thank you, and others, for posting these great high resolution photos. They are as close as many of us may come to such a fine rifle and provide us with the opportunity to study details and architecture from a master.
Enjoy your treasure.

That rifle is a treasure. Maybe display that with a hunting bag and scrimshawed horn.
-
Yup ! That's about a beautiful as it gets .......... But I would still have to shoot it . I couldn't stand to own one like that and not slide some lead down the barrel . I am not worthy !! Thanks for sharing the pictures .

Either way, doesn't or does shoot it, is fine by me. Truly an All American masterpiece.
-
Classic from a Master!
-
How long do you think that breech plug is ? Are there 1/2 " of thread?
-
Perfect example that high end figured wood goes with bling.
The architecture would carry this rifle on its own.
To the caretakers...Enjoy!
-
Now THAT is a treasure! Well done.

Dandy rifle, Wallace can really make a fine rifle. I had a chance to see it before he finished it and it was impressive!!
