Title: Brass "Sun" cheek piece inlay
Post by: Shovelbuck on August 10, 2017, 01:18:41 AM
Does anybody offer one for sale or do I need to make my own?

Make your own, that's much more fun and rewarding. To answer your question I don't have any idea if they are sold or not.

Make your own. It takes less than 5 minutes to cut it out using a jewelers saw. Plus as Dave says, it is more rewarding as you will know YOU made the part, not someone else. I found years ago that purchased inlays are never quite the right size you need.

Here is a pattern I have used, it will get you started, just reduce it to the size you want.
