I'd like to talk to John Bergmann about a Hawken rifle. How do I get in touch with him? Thanks
-
I think his address is Granville, TN. You may be able to get his number from information. Send me a note at rbpodge@twlakes.net and let me know if you got his number or not. If not, I have his info at home and will get it to you tomorrow when I get back home around lunch.

I'm surprised he wouldn't have a website with contact info. He's been a prolific quality gunmaker just about forever.
-
He does have a site on Facebook. Great guy.

Check your PM's.

I've tried both phone # and email address that were sent to me...neither worked. Anyone know how to reach John Bergmann?
-
Contact him through Facebook.

;D ;D... Saw John at the Alvin York shoot in Pall Mall back in the spring .... had 8 or 10 rifles there for sale ... I've always admired his work ....Have his card at home, but I'll be away for a couple more weeks .... if you don't contact him before then, I'll get you his number ..... Regards, C C Fiddler ....

I bought a gun off him at York shoot. Have talked to him about 2 months ago. He stays pretty busy building guns for track of the wolf. He always has a few good Hawkins for sale. Be hard to pry mine away..

Tippit,
Send me your e-mail address via "PM" here or to: Buck100-10X@nc.rr.com
John and I are friends on Facebook and I will message him your contact info.
I sold a real nice Hawken made by John back in the early '90's, at a gun show last year.

D. Buck,
I finally got in touch with John and discussed a Flintlock Hawken build. Do you know of any of his used Hawkens available now?
Thanks...tippit

Fortunately for me, I found three Hawkens in a pawn shop, a .54 caliber by the late Ted Fellows, a .54 caliber by Joe Corley, and the John Bergmann in .50 caliber. I need to post the photos of the Corley Hawken on the "The Accidental Vintage Repro Hawken Collection" thread, I guess.
