Title: New ..old guy to the forum ..

Just figured I'd say hi and looking forward to talking Black powder..Been shooting the rock lock for ovah 30+ years....just got a 62 Smoothy about 3 years ago...can't put it down..love it...any ways look forward to the threads ! Nessmuck

Yes Nessmuck, welcome. Shooting flinters for over 30 years sounds good, we all can learn a thing or two with your  experience and that of alot of people already here.  :)

Glad to have another rock banger on board.  What part of the country are you in?  I Started flinters in the early ‘70s then a few years with pop guns and back to flint. Awaiting a NW TG and tho i have 2 shotguns I’ve never dealt with PRBs in a smooth bore.  Looking toward to the journey.

BUT... didn't you get dead?  All your canoes are up in the Adirondack Museum so I thought you was....y'know...remaining deceased...

The ticks have raised heck with the Moose population since 2000.... the lottery use to sell 300 permits....down to under 75 now.

It takes over 20 years to save up enough points for a moose tag here and then you still have to win the lottery with those points. You're only allowed to kill one bull moose in your lifetime.

I never even tried to get a moose tag. Which hurts, because I know exactly where one lives. I got chased by him twice.
