Title: 28 gauge card and wad size ?

I have a smooth bore I call a 28 gauge, the bore measures .540 at the muzzle, fiber cushion wads and hard cards I see advertised are .560, my question is will these be too tight for my bore or will they work just fine, I've never used commercial wads only paper wadding in this Fowler but would like to try them, thanks in advance, Dave

.560 will probably work fine. A true 28 bore is .550
