Title: Shootin the new .54 Leman
Post by: Davemuzz on October 09, 2018, 07:45:58 PM
I finished up my Leman build last week but haven't had a chance to shoot it until this am. It is hot and humid for a fall day in Pennsylvania.....I stayed less than an hour and was soaked from the humidity 'n heat!!!

But, I did get off 7 total shots. I was surprised that I didn't have to move the sights....nor even file the front or back. (Of course....that's likely 'cause I had the files ready in the range bag!!) The target is at 50 yards, .530 Cal Hornady RB, .018 pillow ticking dipped in mink oil. 80gr. Goex FFF powder.

I am pleased with this first time grouping and know that perhaps with a little powder amount change, I may be able to get it better.
