Excellent work. Do you cast the brass from a pattern and then file or just straight off file the material to shape? Thanks

James: is the baldric buckle for a Scottish basket hilt set? Must see it!!
-
Yes sir, it's for a a Scottish cross body carrier. I also have to make a brass mounted version with all hardware like this...

Johnny,
For the custom ones, I start from scratch and do them all by hand. I do plan to sell some as castings in the future.

Beauties, the tooling on the keepers is a nice touch. Very fine work Bud.

Tim beat me to it. The buckles are definitely gorgeous, but the tooled keepers are little jewels as well. The contrasting finish is a nice touch too. Well done sir. God Bless, Marc

Thanks for your reply James Rogers. I look forward to your possible offering of castings.

Awesome...always look forward to new projects coming out of your shop...and much respect for the way you keep taking on new ideas.

Thank you gentlemen.

James, those buckles (and keepers) are nice works of art - a body would be proud to display them.
