Check out Art Riser's blog this AM. There's a super Lancaster by Shane Emig featured today. You don't see much of his work out here in Iowa..... ;)

Wow! That patchbox stippling must have taken a week to finish.
-
Heck I'm not surprised at all. He has one he** of a teacher!

I believe that's as nice looking Lancaster that I havecseen.
Curious to know if those triggers are a close copy of early Dickert triggers. I assume they are but I don't remember every seeing any made like that.

Wow, Eye candy for sure. Super nice in all aspects. On a 1-10 scale I would give it a 10+.

Just in case someone sees this thread next month, or next year, here is the direct link to the Emig rifle. http://contemporarymakers.blogspot.com/2019/04/the-jacob-dickert-rifle-by-shane-emig.html

Oh, to be young, gifted, and well trained!
Stellar work.

That is a very gorgeous Lancaster. The engraving and carving are flawless; such attention to detail is excellent.

Shane had that rifle “in the white” at the CLA last August. The carving and engraving was super, and what a piece of wood! I’d been following his build on his Instagram account, and sure enjoyed getting to see it in person, though unfinished, it was still a very impressive piece of work.
He’s a heck of a nice young man, too!

Sigh, very true...
Its a very nice piece of work. Flawless is seems.

Jacob Dickert would be jealous. I have built two of those Dickert's so I am familiar with all the details and this is the BEST version of that rifle I have ever seen! Beautiful from end to end!

Outstanding!
