Title: Foxfire 5 H House Rifle
Post by: Top Jaw on April 04, 2019, 09:33:06 PM
Some recent postings of Foxfire books for sale on here have reminded me of my first encounter with Herschel House through the pages of Foxfire 5 many years back. That book brought Herschel, Hacker Martin, and several others into the main stream.  In the book Herschel made a rifle for the Foxfire team that was doing a story on him and other Flintlock Rifles makers.  I always wished they had shown a full length view of both sides of that completed rifle. Are there any out there that this informed body of Folks have seen or taken of that particular gun?  Always curious.

I have a pattern for the Foxfire rifle drawn by  Ron Borron. I have Ron’s contact info somewhere. If you would like, I’ll try to personal message it to you When I find it.

A Pattern would be highly appreciated!  Thanks.  Also, does anyone know where that rifle ended up?
