I visited family in St. Louis over the 4th and picked up my new Hawken rifle from Bob Browner. It features a 34" .54 Rice barrel and one of Mr. Roller's locks. I thought that I would share. Thanks

I'm on his waiting list also & would go there to pick it up as I have relatives just across the Muddy.

Congratulations! On top of great architecture and quality of design; your rifle is wonderfully engraved - and, with the banding - adds a real punch...I might have even been tempted to have an engraved capbox added!...although i suppose that might interfere with the wood grain...Bruce
